Picadillo

  1. Heat medium size dutch oven or sautee pan over high heat. Add olive oil and turkey. Distribute evenly and allow to brown on the bottom for five minutes. As it loses its red tint, mix in onions, peppers, garlic, bay leaves and cumin. Cook for 7 minutes until veggies are translucent. Add raisins, tomato paste, olives, parsley, and water. Mix thouroughly and serve over basmati rice.
