Sizzleing Steak & Spinach Salad
- Dijon mustard
- Balsamic Vinigar
- sugar
- diced garlic
- sauteed onions
- Flank steak
- fresh baby spinach
- Panchetta or bacon
- Combine 2 cups balsamic, 1/2 cup dijon, and a teaspoon sugar, whisk and set aside
- Heat sautee pan on med heat with some olive oil, place in flank steak, (cut into 1 inch sections), cook till red is gone on both sides, add some sauteed onions, and diced pancetta to skillet, combine, crank up heat till a nice sizzle is heard, add a few pours of the dressing, will be very loud and could ignite, be carefull, let meat carmalize a bit, then remove from heat.
- Place baby spinach in big bowl, toss with dressing, plate it and place meat, onions and pancetta on salad, crushed walnuts gives this a nice texture as well
