Traditional Pumpkin Pie
- 1 - 9" unbaked pie crust
- 16 oz can pumpkin (2 cups)
- 14 oz can Eagle Brand sweetened milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp gr. ginger
- 1/2 tsp gr. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Streusel Topping:
- 1/2 C packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 C flour
- 1/4 C cold margaring
- 1/4 C chpd nuts
- Preheat oven to 425. In large mixer combine all ingredients except pie shell. Mix well. Pour into pie shell and bake 15 min. Reduce oven temp to 350 and bake 35 - 40 min. or until knife inserted comes out clean. Cool
- Topping:
- Combine br. sugar and flour. Cut in margarine and mix until crumbly. Stir in nuts. After pie has baked 30 minutes sprinkle topping on pie and bake 20 min. or until golden
