Cream Puffs
- Puffs
- 1 cup water
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 cup flour
- 4 eggs
- Filling
- 1 package vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
- Topping
- 1 ounce baking chocolate
- 1 Tbs butter or margarine
- 1 cup confectioners sugar and some to sprinkle on top of finished puffs.
- Puffs
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Bring water and butter to a rolling boil
- Stir in 1 cup flour and it will form a ball
- Beat in 4 eggs until smooth and creamy
- Drop by 1/8 cupfills onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees about 35-40 minutes. Let cool away from draft.
- Slice open the puffs and fill with the cream mixture.
- Filling
- Blend vanilla instant pudding and cold milk. Add whipping cream and beat until thick.
- Topping
- Melt chocolate and butter. Add confectioners sugar and a little water until desired consistency.
- Drizzle on top and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
