Vegetarian Meat Balls In Tomato Sauce

  1. Crush crackers with hands and place in large mixing bowl.
  2. Chop parsley in food processor.
  3. Mince garlic in processor, then onions, then add eggs and cheese and pulse a few times.
  4. Add nuts last and pulse just until nuts are chopped but not pureed.
  5. Pour mixture over crackers in mixing bowl.
  6. Add seasonings.
  7. Prepare tomato sauce in large wide skillet deep enough to hold all ingredients. Bring to simmer and keep on low heat.
  8. Fry meat balls, drain on paper towels and immediately put into hot sauce.
