Goulash
- 1 lb of lean ground beef
- 1 green pepper, diced fine
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1/4 tsp chili powder (season to taste)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 lb macaroni
- saute ground beef and onions in a large skillet until beef is browned.
- Add chopped pepper to the mixture and saute until pepper is softened.
- Add tomato sauce, soup and tomato paste to the above mixture.
- Blend in chili powder and garlic powder.
- Simmer the above mixture for one hour or until thickened.
- Prepare and drain pasta according to package instructions and place in large serving bowl.
- Pour sauce mix over pasta and blend together.
