Mother'S Relish Mold

  1. Drain pineapple.
  2. Reserve syrup and add water to make 1/2 cup liquid.
  3. Dissolve gelatin and sugar in the hot water.
  4. Add pineapple syrup and lemon juice.
  5. Chill until partially set.
  6. Add fruits, celery and nuts.
  7. Chill in 5-cup ring mold or a pretty glass bowl overnight.
  8. Of course, you won't need to unmold the relish from the glass bowl.
  9. Individual molds are good if you prefer.
  10. Yield:
  11. 8 to 10 servings.
  12. Excellent served with cornmeal dressing instead of cranberry sauce.
