Sweet-N-Sour Cabbage Soup

  1. Combine ingredients in large soup kettle.
  2. Place over high heat and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 1 hour or until vegetables are tender and flavors meld.
  4. Remove bay leaves after first 30 minutes of cooking time.
  5. Makes 2 to 3 quarts, 8 to 10 servings.
