Banana Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting

  1. For cake:
  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. In separate bowl mix flour and soda and add to butter mixture alternating with milk. Mix in bananas. Pour into 2 or 3 greased 9" cake pans. Bake at 350 for 25 to 20 minutes or until tooth pick comes out slightly gooey.
  3. Part of the beauty of this cake is the moisture, so be sure you don't overbake.
  4. Icing:
  5. Warm milk and butter. Mix with vanilla and cream cheese. Slowly add powdered sugar, using as much as is needed for the icing consistency you like.
  6. Assembly:
  7. Allow the cakes to cool completely before icing. Freezing the cakes before frosting works well.
