Healthy Petite Sirloin With Fresh Tomato Relish
- 1 lb. Petite Sirloin Steaks Cut to 4oz Portions.
- 1 c. Grape Tomatoes Quartered.
- 1/2 tsp Olive Oil
- 1 Medium Shallot Chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
- 1/4 c. Fine Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tbs. Soy Sauce
- 1 tbs. Brown Sugar
- Saute shallot in olive oil over medium heat until lightly golden. Add garlic and saute to same. Mix in Balsamic Vinegar and Soy Sauce and reduce to half. Add brown sugar and continue to simmer for 1 minute to a sauce consistency. Add tomatoes and set aside.
- Salt and pepper Sirloin generously. Preheat a well seasoned pan over medium high until hot. Pan sear the steak portions for 6-7 minutes on each side for medium rare.
- Let steaks sit on separate plate for 5-10 minutes then top with tomato relish.
