Mimi'S Hamburger Casserole
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (10 oz.) can Hunt's Maya Salsa De Tomate Y Chile Picado
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can Contadina pasta ready diced tomatoes in olive oil, garlic and spices
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 3/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
- 4 c. cooked macaroni
- 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- Brown ground beef and onion.
- Drain.
- Add the next 9 ingredients (all except macaroni and cheese).
- Simmer 10 minutes, then add macaroni and stir well.
- Turn into a 9 x 12-inch baking dish.
- Top with cheese.
- Cover and bake at 375u0b0 for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer.
- Serve hot with garlic bread and tossed salad.
- Serves 6 to 8.
