Smokey Sweet Brussel Sprouts
- 1 LB. FRESH BRUSSEL SPROUTS
- 1 CUP RED SEEDLESS GRAPES HALVED
- 1/4 LB SMOKEY BACON
- 1/2 TSP GARLIC SALT
- CRACKED PEPPER
- SALT
- 2 TBSP OLIVE OIL
- Clean and trim the brussel sprouts. Slice them horizontally into halves or thirds. Set Aside.
- Chop the bacon into 1/2 " cubes and place in a frying pan. Cook the bacon over medium heat until the bacon is crispy and cooked thoroughly. Remove the bacon from the pan and drain on a paper towel.
- Pour the olive oil into the bottom of a clean pan. Add the brussel sprouts and cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, until the brussel sprouts starts to brown on the edges and cook through, about 8-10 minutes. Stir in the grapes, bacon and garlic salt. Continue cooking for one minute. Salt & pepper to taste. Serve hot or save and serve cold as a great side salad or easy to tote along lunch.
