Pork And Tofu Stirfry
- 1 pound Ground Pork
- 1 package Firm Tofu
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Ginger
- 2 stalks Scallion
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Roasted Sesame Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 splash Mirin
- 1 splash Sake
- 1 splash Siracha
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable, Safflower, Grapeseed or other unflavored oil
- Put sesame oil, salt, soy sauce, mirin, sake (optional) and ground pork in a bowl.
- Wash and slice scallions thinly (using both green and white) and add to bowl with pork mixture.
- With a micro plane, grate garlic and ginger into bowl of pork.
- Mix all the pork ingredients together until well combined.
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium high heat until warm.
- Add the pork to the skillet, cooking until brown and breaking up as you go.
- In the meantime, cut the tofu into half in cubes.
- Add the tofu to the skillet with the pork, adding a splash of soy sauce and siracha to taste.
- Cook together for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve over rice.
