Mama Pike'S Lasagne

  1. Add sauce to browned italian sausage. Mix well and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, blend ricotta, eggs, oregano, garlic powder and parmesan until well blended.
  2. In a 13 x 9 baking dish, lightly coat bottom with sauce. Lay noodles over to completely cover, cutting to fit. Top with 1/2 of the ricotta mixture, 1/2 of the basil leaves and 1/3 of each of the remaining sauce and mozzerella. Repeat layer, starting with noodles. Top with remaining noodles, then remaining sauce and mozzerella.
  3. Bake at 350 for an hour until top is browned and bubbling. Cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting (or cool completely and re-warm).
