Duff'S Bread Pudding
- 2 c. Carnation Coffee-mate
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 can sliced peaches
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 8 slices white bread
- Combine Coffee-mate and water.
- Mix until free of lumps.
- Add melted butter and beat 30 seconds.
- Add eggs, beat 1 minute.
- Add sugar, vanilla, peaches (which have been cut up).
- Beat on high speed for 1 to 2 minutes.
- In a non-greased dish, place 3 cups mixture in dish.
- Sprinkle with raisins.
- Add bread slices which have been cut into cubes (1-inch).
- Lightly toss.
- Pour remaining mixture over bread.
- Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 or 45 minutes.
- Cool slightly and top with nutmeg sauce.
