Steak Kew

  1. Combine garlic, ginger, scallion, oyster and soy sauces, sugar and cornstarch in bowl and add cubed filet mignon. Mix well and marinate 15-30 minutes.
  2. Remove and discard tips of snow peas. Wash and drain. Bring 1 qt. of water to a boil. Add snow peas and stir well. When water boils again, remove from heat, drain, and run cold water over snow peas.
  3. Heat peanut oil in wok or non-stick fry pan over medium high heat. Add mushrooms, stir-fry 1/2 to 1 minute. Add meat mixture, stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes. Add snow peas, mix well. Pour into dish and serve hot with cooked rice.
  4. 2-4 servings
