Chocolate Pecan Pie
- 2 Eggs, whole
- 1 tablespoon Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Sugar, white
- 1/2 cup Butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Flour, all purpose
- 1 1/4 cups Pecans, roughly chopped
- 1/3 cup Chocolate chips, semi-sweet
- 1 Pie Crust
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- In large mixing bowl, beat 2 eggs until light and frothy.
- Stir in milk and vanilla. Mix well.
- Stir in both sugars and flour. Mix well.
- Stir in melted butter. Mix well.
- Stir in chopped pecans. Mix well.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly across bottom of pie shell.
- Gently pour nut mixture over chocolate chips. Tap gently to release any air bubbles.
- Bake in 400 degree F overn for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake another 30-40 minutes, until set in center.
- Let cool completely. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
