Bbq Chicken Wings
- 2 dozen wings
- Sauce:
- 1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce (I use honey or mesquite)
- 2 cups of water
- 3 tbsp of ketchup
- 3 tbsp of brown sugar
- 1 tbsp fresh garlic OR 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- salt
- 1. Preheat your oven to 375.
- 2. Arrange the wings evenly on a foil covered baking sheet.
- While the oven is preheating:
- 3. Bring BBQ sauce, water and ketchup to a low boil.
- 4. Add brown sugar, garlic/powder and salt and continue to allow the mixture to rise to a rolling boil.
- 5. Add pepper. Stir and reduce heat. Allow the sauce to simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Wings:
- 6. Pat your wings dry. Salt and pepper them.
- 7. Bake your wings at 375 for 50 minutes. Do not turn them.
- 8. After your wings are done, place them in a large bowl and toss them with the sauce.
