Savory Kahlua Stuffing

  1. * Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake bread crumbs for 5 minutes. Stir and continue to bake for 5 more minutes until lightly toasted. Remove from oven and place crumbs in a large bowl. Set aside.
  2. * In a large skillet, melt butter and add vegetables; saute lightly.
  3. * Remove from heat and add the balance of ingredients.
  4. * Pour over bread crumbs and toss to moisten evenly, adding additional broth if necessary.
  5. * Stuff turkey.
  6. * Makes about 3 quarts of stuffing, enough for a 12-14 lb turkey.
