Szechuan Green Beans

  1. Peel garlic and ginger. Smash garlic. Trim scallions
  2. and cut into 2" lengths (don't be fancy, the next step
  3. is a food processor). Place garlic, ginger, and
  4. scallions into a food processor and process until
  5. finely chopped. Remove to a 14x11x2" dish. Add oil
  6. and pepper flakes. Cook in microwave, uncovered, at
  7. 100% for 3 minutes.
  8. Remove from microwave and stir in remaining ingredients, tossing gently to coat green
  9. beans. Cook, uncovered, at 100% for 10-15 minutes,
  10. stirring 4-5 times.
  11. Serve hot or cold.
