New York Style Cheese Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0
  2. Add water to roasting pan and put in oven
  3. Wrap spring form pan with foil to prevent leakage
  4. Grease the inside of spring form pan
  5. For the crust
  6. Add graham crackers to bag
  7. Crush crackers into small pieces
  8. Melt butter in medium sauce pan
  9. Add crushed crackers to pan
  10. Toss crackers and coat with butter
  11. Press crackers into bottom of spring form pan to for even layer
  12. For the Cake
  13. Add cream cheese and sugar to mixing bowl and beat until smooth 3-4 min
  14. Add cornstarch to bowl
  15. Add eggs one at a time
  16. Add vanilla
  17. Add salt
  18. Add sour cream until blended
  19. Pour ingredients into spring form pan
  20. Place spring form pan in roasting pan in oven
  21. Bake for 45 min
  22. Turn off oven and allow cooling for 1:20
  23. Remove from oven and allow cooling for 2 hours
  24. Wrap spring form pan with foil and place in fridge overnight
  25. The next day
  26. Remove cake from fridge
  27. Have serving plate ready
  28. Un-mold cake put on serving plate
  29. Garnish and serve

  31. Banana Cheesecake
  32. 1cup mashed bananas replaces 1cup sour cream
  33. Chocolate swirl
  34. Melt 1/2 cup chocolate
  35. Add 1/2 cake batter to spring form pan
  36. Drizzle chocolate in center and around spring form pan
  37. Add remaining cake batter to pan
  38. Add remaining chocolate to pan
  39. Using a paring knife swirl chocolate into batter
  40. Fruit
  41. Add 1/2 cake batter to spring form pan
  42. Add fruit puree to spring form pan
  43. Add remaining cake batter to pan
  44. Add remaining fruit puree to pan
  45. Using a paring knife swirl fruit puree into batter
