Spaghetti With Red Clam Sauce
- 4 to 6 large cloves garlic, chopped fine
- 1 large can whole or chopped clams
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 medium can crushed tomatoes
- 2 to 3 small cans tomato sauce
- fresh grated Parmesan cheese
- crushed red pepper (optional)
- Saute
- garlic
- in
- olive oil over low heat (do not burn garlic;
- if
- you
- do, start again).
- Add clam juice, tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and oregano;
- stir and cook together for
- 10
- minutes.
- Add
- clams and parsley; cook another 10 minutes.
- Sauce
- is
- done!terve
- over spaghetti or linguine. Sprinkle with fresh grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve and enjoy.
