Deep Dish Taco Squares
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. green pepper
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. Bisquick
- 1 or 2 onions, sliced
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Grease square baking dish, 8 x 8 x 2-inch. Cook and stir ground beef until brown; drain.
- Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, Cheddar cheese and chopped onion; reserve.
- Mix baking mix and water until a soft dough forms.
- Pat in pan, pressing dough 1/2-inch up on sides.
- Layer beef, tomatoes, onion and green pepper in dish.
- Spoon sour cream mixture over top.
- Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
- Bake until edges are light brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
- Serve with your choice of taco sauce.
- Serves 5 to 6.
