Chocolate Chip Cake
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/3 c. sour cream
- 2/3 c. margarine or softened butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 6 oz. pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Heat oven to 350u0b0; grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
- In large bowl, blend first 9 ingredients, low speed until moistened, then for 3 minutes at medium speed.
- Pour half of batter into pan.
- In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle half of sugar mixture and chocolate chips over batter.
- Repeat with remaining batter, sugar mixture and chocolate chips.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Top with ice cream to serve.
