Spritz Cookies
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup Butter Flavor Crisco all - vegetable shortening or 1 Butter Flavor Crisco Stick
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup or regular pancake syrup
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 3 cups all - purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1.teat oven to 375u0b0F. Place sheets of foil on countertop for cooling cookies.
- 2.tlace sugar and shortening in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, syrup, and vanilla; beat until well blended and fluffy.
- 3.tombine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add gradually to shortening mixture; beat at low speed until well blended.
- 4.till cookie press with dough, following manufacture's directions. Press dough about 1 1/2 inches apart on un-greased sheet.
- 5.tBake one sheet at a time at 375u0b0F for 7 - 9 minutes or until bottoms of cookies are golden. Do not over bake. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove cookies to foil to cool completely.
