Spritz Cookies

  1. 1.teat oven to 375u0b0F. Place sheets of foil on countertop for cooling cookies.
  2. 2.tlace sugar and shortening in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, syrup, and vanilla; beat until well blended and fluffy.
  3. 3.tombine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add gradually to shortening mixture; beat at low speed until well blended.
  4. 4.till cookie press with dough, following manufacture's directions. Press dough about 1 1/2 inches apart on un-greased sheet.
  5. 5.tBake one sheet at a time at 375u0b0F for 7 - 9 minutes or until bottoms of cookies are golden. Do not over bake. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove cookies to foil to cool completely.
