Mospice Bunt Cake

  1. Cream butter and suger until fluffy, add eggs one at a time beating well after each egg. Add molassas, blend well, add milk, mix until just blended.
  2. In another bowl, mix ginger, cloves, cinnamon, flour, and salt. Beating at low speed, add three tablespoons flour mixture at a time to liquid mixture until all flour is used. Combine baking soda and boiling water, stir and add to batter, mixing well. Batter will be very wet.
  3. Pour batter into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake 350 for 50 minuts or until toothpick comes out clean when tested. Cool 10-15 minutes and invert to cooling rack.When cool sprinkle with powdered suger or glaze. Glaze: 2 C. powdered suger, 2 Tbs. soft butter, 5 T. milk. Blend until smooth, pour over bundt cake.
