Four-Square Glazed Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 13x9 pan with foil, and spray or grease. Melt 4 squares chocolate and butter in a small pan over low heat until melted. Stir in sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Add flour and chocolate chips and blend well. Spread in pan and bake about 30 minutes, or until the batter just begins to pull away from the pan. Do not overbake. Cool in the pan.
  2. In a small pan, melt 1 square of chocolate, 1/4 cup butter, and milk and stir over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over brownies and spread to cover. Refrigerate to set up chocolate if desired. Remove brownies from pan, take out of the foil and cut in bars.
