Whoopee Pies

  1. COOKIES
  2. 1. Cream shortening (1 cup), 2 cups granulated sugar, 2 eggs, 1 TBSP vanilla till creamy smooth!
  3. 2. Mix togteher 4 cups flour, 1 cup cocoa, and 1 tsp salt
  4. 3. Add to cream mixture and sour milk. Mix to smooth.
  5. 4. Roll into @ 2 tablespoon sized balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
  6. 5. Bake 7 - 9 minutes (do not overbake) Allow to cool
  7. FILLING
  8. 1. Cream 2 egg whites and vanilla till stiff.
  9. 2. Add powdered sugar, 4 TBSP flour. 4 TBSP milk and 1 1/4 cups shorting till stiff,
  10. #, When cool spread filling between two cakes!
