Chat-Pati Taangein (Spicy Drumsticks )

  1. Method:
  2. 1. Clean chicken. Cut large pieces to get 24 peices in all.
  3. 2. Whisk yogurt in a large bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Rub the chicken pieces with this mixture.
  4. Keep aside for 3 1/2 hours preferably in the refrigerator. This step can be performed the night before.
  5. 3. Prepare the grill.
  6. 4. Skewer the marinated pieces at least an inch apart.
  7. 5. On a charcoal grill, cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, basting at least once.
  8. 6. Serve with a side salad or a grilled pita/flatbread with a cool cucumber + yogurt sauce.
