Tico Taco Salad
- 1 head Lettuce, broken into pieces
- 1 lb. lean ground beef, fryed
- 1 8 oz. pkg. Mexican or Taco cheese, shredded
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 small can corn kernals
- 1 large tomato, chopped fine
- 1/2 c. black olives
- 1/2 c. salsa
- 2 tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 c. Italien salad dressing
- 1 c. broken tortilla chips
- Fry ground beef. While beef is frying, break lettuce into a large bowl. Add all the other ingredients except the chili powder, dressing, salsa, and tortilla chips. Place ground beef over lettuce in bowl, add all other ingredients, then mix chili powder, salsa, and dressing well and pour over all. Toss well. Add tortilla chips just before serving so they'll remain crisp. Can be served as salad or put into taco shells and served. If you want it with more bite, chop a chili pepper and add to salad.
