Easy Refigerator Rolls
- Combine 1 cup warm water and 2 packages dry yeast(not speedy type)
- Let rest to foam
- Stir in 1 stick butter,melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs and
- 1 tsp salt.
- Beat in 4-41/2 cups unbleached flour, one cup at a time until too stiff to mix (may not need all)
- Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or up to 4 days
- Grease 13x9 pan, turn out chilled dough onto a lightly foured board and divide into 24 equal size pieces. Roll each piecs into a smooth round ball and arrange in even rows in pan. Cover and let rise until doubled (about an hour).
- Preheat oven to 375 and bake until golden,15-20 minute.Brush warm rolls with melted butter to make shine, serve warm.
- When we made a similar recipe with my grandma, we made cloverleaf rolls, three small pieces in muffin cups, could also make burger rolls, or even twists I suppose.
