Mom'S Stuffed Peppers

  1. Saute onion and garlic till golden. Add tomato puree, paste, soup, water, and seasonings. Bring to boiling, simmer 1.5 hours.
  2. Meanwhile combine pork, bread crumbs, egg, rice, onions, and salt. Cook peppers 5 minutes and stuff with meat mixture. Place in casserole and bake at 350 for 1.5 hours, basting three or four times.
