Kahlua Fudge Pie
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 c. Kahlua
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler on low heat until smooth. Hand beat eggs lightly.
- Stir in brown sugar, salt, vanilla, syrup and
- chocolate mix.
- Mix 1/2 cup walnuts into batter.
- Turn into pie shell.
- Cover top of pie with remaining walnuts.
- Bake at 350u0b0 in center of the oven until barely set in the center and pastry is light golden brown, approximately 45 to 60 minutes.
- Cool and refrigerate.
- Makes 8 to 10 servings.
