  1. Ok, you won't offend me if you make this a little less sweet - drop the honey, for example, and use a more rustic mustard.
  2. Turn your Slow Cooker on Medium, and add the baked beans, mustards, ketchup, chili powder, worcestershire, honey and brown sugar. Stir it well and let it heat up.
  3. Brown the hamburger and the sausage. It's better if they are more finely crumbled, but it really doesn't matter. Cook the bacon until it is JUST BARELY done. If you like it fatty, you're like us and it makes for a wonderful texture addition to the sandwiches. I prefer to sweat the onions in a saute pan, getting them soft and then adding them to the mix. But you can add them raw directly to the slow cooker - they will finish either way.
  4. Add the hamburger, sausage and bacon to the slow cooker. (If you want, add the grease. It adds more bacon flavor. If you really don't care about the calories, the cholesterol or the long term health based on consuming one little over the top dish. Paula Dean would be proud!)
  5. Cook for about 30 minutes on medium (20 minutes on high) until it has a healthy simmer. Turn to low and let it go. You can eat it in an hour, but we think 2-4 is better.
  6. Serve on onion buns, or over some hearty bread or sesame buns. Whatever strikes your fancy. It is really killer the next day (just add a little water and heat it on the stove top) but around our house there is rarely any left.
