Meatless Beef Pepper Steak W/ Veggies And Noodles
- 1/2 Tbsp peanut oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp hoison sauce
- 6-8 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 long hot green peppers, minced
- 1/2 - 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 1 cup broccoli, cut in small florets
- 1 red/orange/yellow bell pepper, cut in strips
- 1 medium onion, cut lengthwise
- 1 Tbsp of water
- 1 cup crimini mushrooms, sliced
- 3-4 spring onions, sliced
- 1 packet Mah Wah Meatless Beef Pepper Steak, sliced to your liking
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch (mixed in water)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1. Heat wok to medium-high. Add in oil, soy sauce, and hoison sauce. At the same time cook noodles in another pot according to packet instructions
- 2. Once sauces are boiling in wok, add in garlic, hot green peppers, and ginger. Cook for 1-2 mins
- 3. Add in carrots and broccoli. Cook for 2-3 mins
- 4. Add in bell peppers. Cook for another 2 mins
- 5. Add in onions and water. Cook until veggies are slightly softened. Approx 4-5 mins.
- 6. Add in Meatless Beef Pepper Steak. Cook for an additional 2-3 mins.
- 7. Add in Mushrooms. Cook for 1-2 mins. At this point taste veggies to ensure they are cooked to your liking. If not, cook until it is.
- 8. Add in cornstarch water to thicken sauce
- 9. Mix in Noodles with veggie and beef mixture.
- 10. Add in half of spring onions and mix well. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
- 11. When finally finished garnish with the rest of the spring onions.
