Skillet Tamale Pie

  1. In a 10-inch skillet, heat oil.
  2. Add beef and cook over medium heat separating with a fork in small pieces until it loses its red color.
  3. Add onions, corn and tomatoes (undrained).
  4. Slowly stir in corn meal, salt, chili powder and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Cook and stir over low heat for 10 minutes.
  6. Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Bake at 350u0b0 until bubbly and hot and well browned; about 45 minutes.
