Perfect Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 (or slightly higher)
  2. Grease and / or line an 8 inch square baking dish with parchment paper
  3. Beat sugar and butter until creamy then gradually add eggs, beating until mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  4. Add cocoa, vanilla, & oil
  5. Then add the flour (with salt mixed in) in 2-3 parts, mixing well after each addition
  6. OPTIONAL: stir in chocolate chips and walnut pieces
  7. Pour batter into pan
  8. Sprinkle sea salt over top
  9. Bake for 25-35 minutes. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Makes 1 small or 12 medium brownies.
