Baked Chicken
- 4 medium chicken breasts, skin removed
- 2/3 c. cream
- 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 tsp. garlic cloves
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. corn flakes, crumbled
- 3 bell peppers, cut in slices (1 red, 1 yellow and 1 green)
- 1 large onion, sliced
- Place chicken in tightly covered baking dish.
- Combine 3/4 cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and seasoned salt; mix well. Pour over chicken and cover.
- Marinate 3 hours or overnight.
- Put flour in plastic bag.
- Put chicken in and coat well.
- In bowl, beat 2 large eggs with 1/2 cup cream.
- In another bowl put corn flake crumbs with garlic and basil.
- Melt butter in large casserole dish. Take chicken from flour; coat well in eggs and roll in corn flake crumbs.
- Place chicken in casserole dish; cover and bake at 300u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Remove; cover chicken with onion and bell pepper. Add 1 cup water and cover; cook 20 minutes more.
