Pastor'S Spaghetti
- 2 (42 oz.) jars Prego thick spaghetti sauce
- 2 (4 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 large onion
- 3 lb. Italian sausage links (hot or mild)
- 3 lb. ground round, chuck or hamburger
- 1/2 bottle Hunt's ketchup
- 2 lb. spaghetti
- garlic powder, onion powder and oregano to taste
- Cut onion and bell pepper to desired size; mix together in saucepan with chunks of link sausages.
- Add 1 cup water; bring to a boil until tender.
- Pour water off.
- Lightly brown ground round. Add garlic powder and onion powder.
- Let sausage simmer for 1 hour.
- Boil water for spaghetti (see directions on box).
- Add butter; drain spaghetti.
- Mix together the spaghetti, sauce and meat mixture.
- Add ketchup and oregano to taste.
- Heat at low temperature, then serve.
