Lasagna

  1. Brown ground beef with onion and green pepper in a large saucepan.
  2. Add tomato paste, mushrooms, garlic and spices. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Cook noodles; rinse and drain.
  4. Place 1/3 of sauce in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  5. Top with crisscross layer of half the noodles. Spread with cottage cheese over noodles.
  6. Add 1/2 of remaining sauce.
  7. Top with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese.
  8. Add remaining noodles with 1 cup Ricotta cheese, remaining sauce, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and 1 cup Mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
