Clam Dip
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 medium onion minced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 2 (6 1/2 ounce) cans minced clams, drained (save juice from one can)
- juice from one can of clams
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- dash tabasco
- 1/4 pound mozzarella cheese grated
- 3 Tablespoons Parmesan cheese grated
- Melt butter in deep skillet and saute onion and garlic for a few minutes. Add parsley and oregano. Slowly stir in bread crumbs, clams, clam juice, lemon juice and Tabasco. Pour mixture into 1 1/2 quart greased baking dish. Fold in Mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serve with chips.
