Piroshkis
- 1 # ground beef
- 1 lg onion
- 1 T flour
- 1/2 c water or broth
- 2 hard boiled eggs chopped
- 3 T fresh dill
- salt,pepper
- dough:
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 t b. powder
- 1/2 c cold butter
- 1 t salt
- 1 T sugar
- 2 lg eggs
- 1 c. sour cream
- mix flour, b. powder, salt, cut in butter till it looks like oatmeal
- In another bowl whisk eggs and sour cream till smooth
- Add egg mixture to flour, stir into mass.
- remove dough to well floured counter and knead for few min till smooth
- cover and chill for 1 hr.
- Brown meat add onion, sprinkle flour over meat mixture and still add water to thicken. add sour cream, remove from heat and add chopped eggs and dill.
- Preheat oven to 375
- divide dough in half and return other half to refrig to keep cold
- roll out to 1/4 in, cut into 6 in rounds. place 3 T of filling on round, close over and seal with fork place on greased cookie sheet. poke a few holes in ea, and baste with beaten egg.bake till golden brown, apx 20 min.
