Oyster-Seafood And Noodle Casserole
- 12 shrimp
- 24 oysters or more if you like
- 1 c. leftover fish
- 1 pt. cooked macaroni
- 1/2 c. white onions, diced and lightly sauteed in olive oil and garlic powder
- 2 c. white sauce or cream soup (such as cream of chicken, broccoli, etc.)
- 3/4 c. frozen green peas
- dash of nutmeg
- 1/3 c. Italian bread crumbs
- Put shrimp in boiling water for 15 seconds.
- Drain.
- Peel shrimp when cool. Shuck oysters; reserve liquor.
- Flake the leftover fish, removing any breading if they were fried.
- In a large bowl, combine the seafood with the macaroni, onions and peas.
- Stir the nutmeg into the white sauce (or cream soup) and add to the seafood and pasta.
- Sprinkle the bread crumbs on top and drizzle with reserved oyster liquor. Bake in oven preheated to 350u0b0 for about 20 to 25 minutes.
