My Children'S Favorite Cranberry Pecan Tassies

  1. Blend cheese and 1/2 cup butter; stir in flour.
  2. Chill about 1 hour.
  3. Shape into 2 dozen 1-inch balls.
  4. Place in ungreased 1 3/4-inch muffin pans.
  5. Press dough evenly against bottom and sides of each.
  6. Blend together egg, sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, vanilla and dash of salt just until smooth.
  7. Stir in berries and pecans.
  8. Spoon into pastry lined muffin cups.
  9. Bake in 325u0b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until filling is set.
  10. Cool in pans. Makes 24.
