Happy Granola
- 6 Tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla
- 1/2 Tablespoon cinnamon
- 3 1/2 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup sweetened coconut
- 1 cup raisins
- 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- 2. In a large bowl, mix together butter, honey, wheat germ, vanilla and cinnamon.
- 3. Add oats, almonds, coconut, and raisins. Mix thoroughly until everything is dispersed evenly.
- 4. Spread granola onto a cookie sheet. Toast granola in the oven for about 10 minutes. Stir granola on cookie sheet.
- 5. Stir every few minutes as you continue to toast the granola to make sure it turns out evenly toasted. Toast for about another 10 minutes.
- 6. Let granola cool completely on the cookie sheet. Store in an air tight container in the freezer for best results.
