Tamale Pie

  1. In large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain off excess fat.
  2. Add tomatoes, corn, cornmeal and seasonings; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in olives.
  4. Turn into 8-inch square dish.
  5. Sprinkle cheese over meat mixture.
  6. Carefully spoon topping over cheese, spreading batter out to edges.
  7. Bake at 425u0b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
