Scrumptious Summer Fruit Triffle
- 1 loaf pound cake
- 1 qt fresh strawberries, sliced, reserve a couple whole for garnish
- 1 pint blueberries, set aside some for garnish
- 6 medium peaches, peeled, seeded and sliced; canned peaches can be substituted if necessary 1 lrg can,sliced
- 1 large box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 Tbsp Grand Marnier Orange liquor (if desired)
- 1 16 oz whipped topping
- Prepare vanilla pudding according to instructions on box. Add Grand Marnier and mix well.
- Cut pound cake into bite size cubes and place half in the bottom of a triffle dish or large, deep bowl.
- Top with half of the peaches, strawberries and blueberries. Spread evenly.
- Top with half of the pudding mixture. Spread evenly to sides of bowl.
- Top with half of the whipped topping. Spread evenly to sides of bowl.
- Repeat each layer with cake, fruit, pudding and finish with whipped topping.
- Garnish with whole strawberries halfed and a sprinkle of blueberries. Chill for at least 30 mins before serving.
