Mushrooms Stuffed With Sausage
- 48 large fresh mushrooms
- 19 oz johnsonville italian mild sausage
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp. fresh parsley, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup of grated parmesean cheese
- 1 8oz. cream cheese, softened
- preheat oven to 400
- remove mushroom stems and discard
- place mushroom caps on foiled lined baking sheet
- remove sausage from casing
- in a skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat, the drain
- in a bowl, combine cream cheese, parsley, lemon juice, and garlic until smooth
- combine cream cheese mixture and sausage
- fill each cap with the mixture
- sprinkle with parmesan cheese
- bake for 14-16 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and browned
