Calamare Supremo

  1. Heat the oil. Mix the Wondra, salt and pepper and dredge the calamari in the mixture and shake off excess in a strainer and put immediately into the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes and remove and set aside. Do this in batches until all calamari are fried.
  2. Mix the sauce by placing the Wasabi in a small bowl and adding the honey and mixing a small amount at a time until the bitterness of the Wasabi is gone. Then add the half and half until the color is light yellow and the texture is that of cream. Squeeze the lemon into the sauce and drizzle the sauce lightly over the calamari and serve. Enjoy!!
