Lasagna
- 2 # Sweet Italian Sausage
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 Tbsp whole Basil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 - 1# 12oz can tomatoes or 3 - 14.5oz cans
- 2 - 6oz cans tomato paste
- 1/2 c. each of grated Parmesan and Romano
- 2 Tbsp parsley flakes
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 c. ricotta cheese
- 1 # mozzarella cheese sliced thin
- 10 oz lasagna noodles
- Brown meat, then drain excess grease. Add next 5 ingredients. Simmer for 30 min stirring occasionally. Cook noodles. Combine remaining ingredients except mozzarella.
- Prepare a 9X13 pan by spraying with a little olive oil. Alternate layers of noodles, cheese mixture, mozzarella and meat mixture. Do this 3 times.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min. Let stand for 10 min before cutting.
